Dateline: Paris, TN Services for Mr. J D Wilson, 85, will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Everetts Chapel with military burial honors. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Wilson, a retired truck driver, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born on February 1, 1925 in McKenzie, TN to John Grant and Goldia Winsett Wilson. He was a WW II United States Marine Corps veteran, a life member of the Colin Kelly Post #17 Amvets in Chicago, IL serving as Post Commander. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Mildred Carleen Lawrence Wilson of Paris, TN, one daughter Janet Darlene (Davor) Nuich of Glenview, IL, two sons Michael Lawrence (Cathy) Wilson of Roundlake Beach, IL, Robert Wayne Wilson of Paris, TN, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild .
