Services for Bessie Arlene Holloway, 83, will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2 PM at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM and Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 11 AM until 2 PM. Mrs. Holloway, a retired seamstress and former restaurant owner, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1927 in Lansing, MI to the late Lamoine and Marie Zigler. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, G.R. Holloway and one brother, Lawrence Zigler. Survivors include two sons, Ricky Holloway of Paris, TN and Randy Holloway of Dyer, TN; two daughters, Diane Johnson of McKenzie, TN and Rae Lynn Verner of Camden, TN; one sister, Berneal McKinnie of McKenzie, TN; 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
