William Richard Ridley

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for William Richard Ridley, 82, will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 3:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Carr and Rev. Pratt Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 11:00 am until service time at 3:00 pm. Mr. Ridley, a retired State of Tennessee Transportation equipment operator and farmer, died Sunday January 23, 2011, at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1928 in McKenzie, TN to Max and Ruby Thomas Ridley. He was a member of the McKenzie Presbyterian Church USA and a veteran of Tennessee Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Rollin Ridley and Reuben Ridley. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Charlye Mae Moore Ridley of McKenzie, TN, two daughters: Kay (Dwayne) French of Jackson, Barbara (Dwayne) Charlton of Milan, two sons: William Dennis (Betty) Ridley and Tim (Pam) Ridley all of McKenzie, eleven grandchildren: Will (Danielle) Ridley of Memphis, John (Brittney) Williams of Gleason, Laura (Ty) Winstead of Gleason, Melissa (Josh) Brewer of McKenzie, Brent (Tina) Davis of Huntingdon, Brian (Shelly) French of Huntingdon, Paula (Tracy) Brewer of Jackson, Jill (Jason) Brigance of Martin, Lynnsey (Josh) Vaughn of Milan, Brooke Ridley and Candace Ridley both of McKenzie and 15 Great Grandchildren.
