Dateline: McKenzie, TN Graveside funeral services for John W. Harris, 76, will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Enon Cemetery with Nathan Gulledge officiating. Mr. Harris, a former Bar-be-que cook at Mayo's BBQ, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on October 21, 1934 in Westport, Tennessee to Hobert J. and Lula Thomas Harris. He attended church at the Church of Christ. Survivors include: a daughter Diane Harris of Gleason, his companion Mary Sue Cook of McKenzie, three sisters Annie Golden of Queen Creek, AZ, Faye Harris of Murray, KY, Louise Gulledge of McKenzie, four brothers Roy Townsend of Bradenton, FL, Jerry Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, Kenneth Harris of St. Louis, MO, Larry Harris of Antioch, TN .
