Geraldine Flippin

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Geraldine Flippin, 74, will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers John Forgy and Ray Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Obion Chapel Cemetery on Old Stage Road near the Terry community. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 11:00 am until service time. Ms. Flippin, a homemaker, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. She was born on January 23, 1937 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to John Fay and Frances Harmon Porter Robinson. She was a member of Church of Christ and graduate of Trezevant High School. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include three sons Gary (Debby) Flippin of McKenzie, Kevin (Lisa) Flippin of McKenzie, Brad (Ashley) Flippin of Nashville, TN, two sisters Marilyn (Melvin) Wimberley of Decatur, AL, Brenda (Jim) Smith of McKenzie, a brother Ray (Pat) Robinson of Decatur, AL, eight grandchildren: Nick, Valarie, Jonathan, Heather, Lauren, Chance, Henry and Matthew, five great grandchildren: Bryce, Ace, Laken, Cameron, and Jada.
