Vera Catherine Hopper

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Vera Catherine Wingfield Hopper, 94, will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, June 20, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Hopper, a business owner and operator of Hopper's Laundry in McKenzie for 31 years and Baptist in faith, died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born on March 25, 1917 in Gurdon, AR to Jesse and Ollie Mae Jones Wingfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gray Hopper, sisters Narvell Pounds, Lila Riddick, Gladys DeHoff and Mary Ruth Carter, brothers Cecil Wingfield, Clarence Wingfield, Hauzie Wingfield, and Gene Wingfield. Survivors include two daughters Rae Hopper of McKenzie, TN and Lana (Buddy) Wiggleton of McKenzie, TN, two sons Butch Hopper of North Little Rock, AR and Bill (Margie) Hopper of Nashville, AR, seven grandchildren Lance Hopper, Sean Hopper, Tiffany Hopper, Tyler Hopper, Cody Hopper, Scotty Wiggleton and Jamie Wiggleton, six great grandchildren Jenna Wiggleton, Joseph Wiggleton, Emma Wiggleton, Hennessy Hopper, Bentley Hopper and Gage Hopper and one sister Mavis Wingfield Lovins of Steele, MO.
