Dateline: Atwood, TN Services for Michael Nelson Brown, 21, will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 5:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home. The family has selected cremation to follow the funeral service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 1:00 pm until service time at McKenzie Funeral Home. Michael, a student, died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Humboldt General Hospital in Humboldt. He was born on July 19, 1989 in Chicago, IL to David Brown and Tonya Lamar. Survivors include his wife Patricia Anne Westmoreland Brown of Atwood, two daughters Morgan Ariana Brown and Mallory Anastasia Brown both of Atwood , an unborn son Michael Aidan Brown, his mother Tonya Lamar of Humboldt,, his father David Brown of Humboldt, his sisters LaTonya Brown, Danielle Brown, Natalia Lamar his brothers Marcus Godwin, Cody Lamar all of Humboldt, other loving siblings survive, his grandmother Barbara Powell of Humboldt, his mother and father in law Scott and Georgia Woodruff of Atwood, his father in law Stephen Westmoreland, his sister and brother in law Kari and Michael Stoots, Cassandra Westmoreland and Scotty Woodruff, three aunts Sharon Ward, Melinda Ward, Elizabeth Cain and many cousins.
