Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Sara Lee Harper, 79, will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Conquest officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Harper, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. She was born on April 29, 1932 in McKenzie, TN to James Miller and Cora Jane White Crocker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Brother Billy R. Harper. Survivors include two daughters: Joanne (Bruce) Large of Lansing, MI, and Carol Cobb of McKenzie, TN, a son Michael Ray Harper of McKenzie, TN, a sister Christine (Richard) Allen of Dresden, TN, three grandchildren: Mindy Jo Large of Lansing, MI, Carrie Street of Trenton, TN, Erin Noonan of McKenzie, TN, six great grandchildren: Blake Large, Abigal Noonan, Thomas Noonan, Trae Haymer, Jayden Street, and Jaxon Street.
