Minnie Lee Barton

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Minnie Lee Barton, 80, will be held Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Elder Robert Churchwell officiating. Interment will follow at McBride Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Barton, a homemaker, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1931 in Missouri to Harve and Amy Simmons Davis. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of McKenzie and the Macedonia Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Robert Barton and two brothers Haskell Davis and Lawrence Davis. Survivors include her husband of 65 years James R. Barton of McKenzie, a son Dennis Barton of McKenzie, five grandchildren Christopher Barton, Renee Verner, Mandy (Robert) Gammill, Nick (Chasidy) Barton, Chase (Jill) Barton, and 10 great grandchildren.
