Zettie Marie Stafford

Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee Services for Zettie Marie Stafford, 84, will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Enon Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 79 South McKenzie, with Brothers Richard Allen and Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at in Enon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home and Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 10:00 am until service time at Enon Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Stafford, a retired garment factory worker at Wilker Brothers Pajama Factory, Henry I. Siegel and Wen-Su Manufacturing Company, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her son's residence. She was born on April 16, 1927 in McKenzie, TN to Ruben Horace and Ruby Edner Haddock Britton. She was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Stafford and five sisters Dorothy Louise Britton, Pearl Cooper, Gladys Sellers Robinson, Benthel Duncan, Mildred Snyder, three brothers William Lloyd Britton, Marvin Britton, and "Red" Britton. Survivors include a son Kenny (Billy Gene) Stafford of McKenzie, a nephew she helped raise Ben Britton of Washington State, two sisters Geneva Horton and Norma Jean Adams Ervin both of McKenzie and a granddaughter Lisa Langford Watkins of Orlando, FL.
