Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Matt David Bennett, 35, will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Tim Maness officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery near Huntingdon, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. Bennett, a former Cast Technician, died Sunday, September 4, 2011. He was born on August 15, 1976 in Huntingdon, TN to James D. (Jimmy) and Peggy Traywick Bennett. He was a US Army Specialist during the Persian Gulf War. Survivors include his father and mother Jimmy and Peggy Traywick Bennett of McKenzie, a sister Sarah Morris of Troy, TN, two brothers Randall Bennett of Memphis, TN, Brian Bennett of McKenzie, his grandmother Mrs. Corene Bennett of McKenzie, a niece and three nephews.
