Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Debra Ann Ashby, 57, will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Bobby Conley and Freddie McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, September 9, 2011 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Ashby, an office manager for State Farm Insurance in McKenzie and formerly with the Henry County Farm Bureau Insurance in Paris, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on July 26, 1954 in McKenzie, TN to Everet and Joy Ray Currin. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband of 34 years Morris Ashby of McKenzie, a son Bradley (Jennifer) Ashby of McKenzie, her mother and step father Joy Ray Currin and Eldon Hampton of Hollow Rock, TN, a brother Stanley (Suzane) Currin of McKenzie, two nieces Betsy (Anthony) Davis and Heather (Matt) Moore all of McKenzie.
