Dateline: Gleason, TN Services for Marvin Blair Martin, 73, will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 3:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Butler Cemetery near Gleason. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 12 noon until service time. Mr. Martin, a Mechanic for Norandal in Huntingdon, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Jackson Madison County Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1937 in Princeton, KY to Luther Eston and Lillie Ann Fraley Martin. He was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church and was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Linda Ripple Martin of Gleason, three daughters Theresa (Doug) Hilliard of McKenzie, Michelle (Jimmy) Bryant of Martin, TN, Marilyn (Jason) Wade of Gleason, two sons Tommy (Laura) Martin of McKenzie, Joseph (Angela) Sylvester of Tracey City, TN, two sisters Wanda Hawkins of Ocoee, Florida, Janice Ann (Robert) Tipton of Sunnerville, South Carolina, 18 grandchildren: Martin, Danielle, Mandy, Ashley, Cody, Brittany, Heather, Candice, Megan, Hunter, Kayla, Alyssa, Dalton, Hunter, Hannah, Kamaryn, Skylar, Sarah, four great grandchildren: Asia, Zain, Cannan, and Mace .
