Bill Lee Lane, Sr.

Dateline: Trezevant, TN formerly of McKenzie, TN Memorial funeral services for Bill Lee Lane, Sr., 71, will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm at The Westwood Pentecostal Church of God on Highway 54 in Paris, TN with Brother Joe Page officiating. Mr. Lane's wish was to be cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2011 before starting of the service. Mr. Lane, a technical mechanic, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1940 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Damon and Rosie Gibson Lane. He was a member of Westwood Pentecostal Church of God and a Mason. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Evelyn Jane Matheny Lane of Trezevant, a daughter Brenda Lane of Trezevant, three sons Tony (Heather) Lane of McKenzie, Richard (Vickie) Lane of Greenfield, TN, Bill (Veda) Lane, Jr. of McKenzie, two sisters Barbara Nix and Earline Williams both of Leeds, AL, a brother J.D. Lane of Cottage Grove, TN, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
