Herman Delaney

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Herman "Buster" Delaney, 78, will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:30 am until service time. Mr. Delaney, retired from Consolidated Aluminum in New Johnsonville, TN, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. He was born on February 18, 1933 in Lobleville, Tennessee to Reuben and Nellie Prince Delaney. He was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Isabelle Morris, and a twin brother Thurman Delaney. Survivors include his wife Margie Ingram Delaney of McKenzie, a daughter Martha Story of Waverly, TN, two sons Keith (Sam) Delaney of Trinity, Alabama, Chris (Misty) Delaney of Huntingdon, TN, a brother Willie B. Turner of Lobleville, TN, six grandchildren: Tyler Delaney, Haley Hubble, Kirstie Terry, Joseph Delaney, Brian Delaney, and Jakob Delaney. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
