William Bodkin Ford

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for William "Billie" Bodkin Ford, 88, will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near the Christmasville community. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. Ford, a farmer, died Monday night, January 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born on May 17, 1923 in McKenzie, TN to William Bryan and Fannie Bodkin Ford. He was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church and a WW II US Army Medical Technician veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Janice Bobo, and a great grand daughter Stacey Bobo. Survivors include his wife of nearly 68 years on February 5, Rachel Lee Ford of McKenzie, a daughter Martha Bobo of McKenzie, and three grandsons Stephen Bobo of McKenzie, Ryan and Tobey Bobo of Idaho, and Alan and Lori Bobo of Washington State and five great grandchildren: Emma Bobo, Alanis Bobo, Blake Bobo, Aivry Bobo, and Kevin Ramsey.
