Eli David Chandler

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Eli David Chandler, 94, will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Alan Trull and Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Wednesday, April 26, 2012 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Chandler, a retired employee of McKenzie Wood Products and a farmer, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1917 in McKenzie, TN to Samuel and Hattie Ervin Chandler. He was a member of Community Grove Methodist Church and was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Lee Carroll Chandler, three sisters Mary Lou Burke, Brooxie Durham, and Estelle Newbill. Survivors include two sons David Chandler of Brownsville, TN, Danny (Debra) Chandler of Martin, TN, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
