Roy Vernon Dowland

TREZEVANT, TN Roy Vernon Dowland, 83, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Milan General Hospital. Visitation for Mr. Dowland will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant at 5pm-8pm and visitation on Sunday will begin at 2:30pm until service time. Funeral Services for Mr. Dowland will be Sunday at 4pm at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford, TN. Mr. Dowland was born August 30, 1928 in the Holly Leaf Community. He was a factory worker for Henry I. Siegel and a farmer. He is survived his wife, Frances Knott Dowland; one son, Vernon (Tiesia) Dowland of Trezevant and one grandson, John Robert Dowland He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Dowland.
