Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for J B Rigsby, 91, will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, May 28, 2012 from 9:00 am until time of service. Mr. Rigsby, a retired farmer and State of Tennessee Highway Department employee, died May 26, 2012, at McKenzie Health Care Center. He was born on January 26, 1921 in Henry Co. to Arzo and Eva Owen Rigsby. He was a member of the Caledonia Missionary Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran during WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife Erma Morris Rigsby, his parents and a sister Opal Francisco. Survivors include three daughters Judy (Robert) Presson of Vermilio, OH, Sandra (Byron) Pate of McKenzie, TN and Patricia Turner of McKenzie, TN, a special friend Melba Summers, five grandchildren Leisa (Butch) Bowling, Laura (Dan) Roth, Douglas (Valerie) Pate, Debbie (Kenny) Medlock and Marc Turner, five great grandchildren Jacki, Mallory, Chloe, Matthew and Lauren.
