John Robert Thorne, 87, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Huntingdon General Hospital. A memorial Service for Mr. Thorne will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witness. He was born December 2, 1924 to the late Jessie Robert and LaVada Gertrude Marquis Thorne. A Veteran of WWII he was a retired Engineer from Good Year. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Smith Thorne of McKenzie; one daughter, Johnna Robin Thorne (Ron) Beams, Memphis, TN. He is also survived by five grand children.
