Memorial Service for Carol Jane Barker , 69, will be held Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 5:00pm at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Barker officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 4:00pm until service time. Mrs. Barker retired from Rolling Hills Humane Society, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born, January 23, 1943 to James Vardaman and Mary Jane Howard Tillman. She was a member of ASPCA, an Animal Activist, and received the Good Samaritan Award. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Glen Barker of Paris, TN, three sons: James David Bell of Higgins, AR, Ronald Wayne Bell of Covington, TN and Greg Barker of McKenzie,TN, three daughters; Sherry Bell Mangum of Bartlett, Deborah Bell Paten of Conyers, GA, and Leigh Ann Mendoza of Medina, TN, two brothers: James Tillman of Madison, AL and Tommy Thompson of Bartlett, TN, one sister, Joy Ann Keeling of Collierville, TN, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial be made to Lake Way Animal Clinic, 2701 Eastwood Street, Paris, TN 38242
