Services for Horace Berry, 94, will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 9:00 am until service time. Mr. Berry, a Iron Worker, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Oak Manor Nursing Home. He was born on April 1, 1918 in Greenfield, TN to Pratt and Freddie Davenport Berry. He was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by Step Mother, Jessie Berry, wife; Dola Harris Berry, brothers; Don and Tony Berry. Survivors include son; Billy (Jeanette) Berry, McKenzie, TN, brother; Milton Berry, McKenzie, TN, sisters; June Nanney, Patty Price, Peggy (Jim) Sydnor and Cherry (Jay) Rittenberry all of McKenzie, TN, two grandchildren; Danny (Heather) Turner, Huntingdon, TN, and Loghan Berry, McKenzie, TN, and one great granddaughter; Rush Turner.
