Services for Max Paul Baker,Sr, 92, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 3:00pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Dr. John Bonson officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 2:00pm until service time. Mr. Baker, an owner/operator of a trucking company, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Jackson Regional Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1920 in Leon, Iowa to Elva & Mae Hill Baker. He was a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, June Collins Baker and his son Max Paul Baker, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Gary) Nelson and Linda (Hal) McIver all of Jackson. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law Jackie Baker of Jackson, three grandchildren, Chris Nelson, Trey McIver and Jill (Harris) Kennedy and one great-grandchild, Madison McIver .
