Max Milton Edwards

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Max Milton "Buddy" Edwards, 86, will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Rev. Eric S. Corbin officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, and Monday, 9:00am until service time. Mr. Edwards, a Brick Mason, Teacher of Masonry at TN Technology Center and a Codes officer for the City of McKenzie, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1925 in McKenzie, TN to Benjamin Howard and Maxine Raulston Edwards. He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Patty Edwards, and one brother, Rip Edwards. Survivors include his wife, Bette S. Edwards of McKenzie; two daughters, MaryAnn ( Steve) Baker of McKenzie and Kathy (Jeff) Meyers of Nashville; two step-daughters, Carie Neal (Dan) Bradfield of McKenzie and Lora Lee (Rick) Goforth of Covington; one son, Bub (Dian) Edwards of Paris and one step-son, Mark (Sherry) Mitchum of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by many Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
