Lucille Kemp Barlow

Services for Lucille Kemp Barlow, 90, will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00am at McKenzie Church of Christ with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery, Atwood, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, and Friday, 9:00am until service time. Mrs. Barlow, a Homemaker, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Hillview Nursing Home. She was born on December 9, 1921, in Cades, TN to J.W. and Lela Maude Longworth. She was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William E. Murray, her daughter, Ruth Ann Jones and her sister, Thelma Longworth. Mrs. Barlow is survived by her husband, Karl Barlow of McKenzie; two step-daughters, Robin Barlow(Jeff)Thompson of McKenzie and Kristi Barlow Oakley of Kingston Springs, TN; one sister, Brooxie White of Palmersville,TN; two grandsons, Derrek ( Stacy) Jones, and Dexter Jones; five step-grandchildren, Kristen Mann, Allyiah Thompson, Chandler Oakley, Carter Oakley and Henry Oakley and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Jones and James Levi Jones and two very special friends, Andy and Beth Allison of Snellville, GA. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be made to the Diabetes Research.
