Charles Jere Cooper

Services for Charles Jere Cooper, 75, will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Prospect Cemetery, Greenfield, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, from 5:30pm - 9:00pm and Wednesday, 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Cooper, a cattle farmer, and also a retiree of Milan Arsenal, died Monday, July 30, 2012. He was born on August 25, 1936, in Carroll County, TN to William Hulon and Mary Lee Ann Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law Jerry Mitchell. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Norma Jo Sullivan Cooper of McKenzie; two daughters, Patricia (Hal) Crocker of Conway, AR and Debbie Pence of Greenfield, TN; four grandchildren, Michelle(Charles)Crocker Van Loon, Nick (Colleen Casta)Crocker, Andy (Jessica Herton) Pence and Amanda Pence Wright; eight-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Micah Van Loon, Chelsea, Jack and Mady Pence, Arianna Casta, Cody Van Loon and Ashley (Paul) Van Loon Billingsley; two sisters, Wanda (Jack) Cooper of Greenfield and Doris Mitchell of McKenzie.
