Funeral services for Maurice Leroy Couch, 93, will be held Thursday, August 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home, Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiating, a private family burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm. He was born on December 1, 1918 in Rutherford, TN, to Entier Leroy and Ruth Patterson Couch. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Elks. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Norma Kathryn Cook Couch. Survivors include daughters; Maurilee (Tom) Walker, Star Valley, AZ, Kathy (Larry) Rosengreen, CA, and a brother Bernie Couch, CA. He is also survived by five grand children and two great grand children. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
