L V Booth

L V Booth of Mason, Michigan formerly of Gleason/McKenzie, Tennessee. Age 99, died August 24, 2012, in Charlotte, Michigan. She was born on July 7, 1913, to John Thomas and Lockie (Ham) Jones in Gleason, Tennessee. L. V. enjoyed her family and friends as well as cooking, quilting, drawing, painting and gardening; she was a Bible scholar and loved to read her Bible. She was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church in McKenzie, Tennessee, and regularly attended Mason Assemby of God Church in Mason, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dalton Boothe in 1980, brothers, J. T., Harry Lee, James Howard and sister Virginia. L. V. is survived by her daughter Helen Purvis of Mason, grandchildren Jim (Helen) Purvis, Teresa (Michael) Chase, Deborah Whitaker and great grandchildren Taylor Chase, Jennie Horton and Lisa Snell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Grace Baptist Church, 747 Magnolia Ave., West, McKenzie, TN 38201. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Brummit-McKenzie Funeral Home, McKenzie, TN.
