Lowell Gene York

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Memorial services for Lowell Gene York, 70, will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Liberty Methodist Church with Rev. John Quinton officiating. Interment of the cremains took place earlier at Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Liberty Church. Mr. York, a production employee at Republic Doors in McKenzie, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. He was born on December 19, 1941 in McKenzie, TN to Aubrey Franklin and Lillian Mae Reynolds York. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Holly York. Survivors include a daughter Regina (Stephen) Prather, a son Scott York and a grandson Travis Prather all of McKenzie, a sister June Coleman of Dresden, TN, and a brother Monte (Shirley) York of Paris, TN.
