William Marvin Stone

Mr. William Marvin Stone, age 73, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Stone will be Sunday, October 14, 2012 5pm-8pm at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Mr. Stone was born October 31, 1938 to William Henry and Fannie Mae Stone. He was an Army veteran, a factory supervisor for Brown Shoe and Gaines, MFG and also a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, J.C. Stone and Charlie Stone He is survived by his wife, Sarah L. Stone of McKenzie; two daughters, Tammy (Donnie) Beasley and Angie (Brent) Bruce both of McKenzie; one son, Bill (Danette) Moore of Savannah, TN; two sisters, Nellie Roberts and Jean Barker both of McKenzie; one brother, Walter Stone of McKenzie and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make a donation in memory of Mr. Stone to the charity of your choice.
