Dateline: McKenzie, TN Graveside funeral services for S W "Doug" Davis, 81, will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, Kentucky with Brother Jim Suddath officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Mr. Davis, a retired Supervisor for 32 years at the Sunbeam Bread Company in McKenzie, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. He was born on January 12, 1931 in Kirkmansville, KY to Earnest and Clarice West Davis. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years Wanda Sewell Davis, a sister Christine Mays and a brother David Watson. Survivors include three sons Steven (Glenda) Davis of Dickson, TN, Jackie (Judy) Davis of Springville, TN, Gary Davis of McKenzie, a sister Patsy (Walter) Boyd of Newstead, KY, three grandchildren Steven (Michelle) Davis, Jr. and Beth Phillips of Dickson, TN, Jeffrey (Dawn) Davis of McEwen, TN, seven great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
