Richard Adams Grossnickle

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Richard Adams Grossnickle, age 85 who was retired from General Electric and formerly worked at the Carroll Lake Golf Course in McKenzie, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1927 in North Manchester, Indiana to Harold W. and Kathryn Adams Grossnickle. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in World War II and Korean Wars and a graduate of Manchester College. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has been selected by the family. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Dorma Creecy Grossnickle of McKenzie, a daughter Crystal Whitlow of McKenzie, two sons Jack Grossnickle of Springville, TN, Richard (Bud) Grossnickle of Muskegon, MI, a sister Janey Meyers of Odessa, FL, a brother Robert Grossnickle of South Bend, IN, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
