Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Betsey Carpenter Lee, 73, will be held Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery near McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, October 29, 2012 from 9:30 am until service time. Ms. Lee, a former housekeeper, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on September 8, 1939 in McKenzie, TN to Lewis and Mozell Eldridge Lee. She was Methodist in faith. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two daughters Rebecca Hamilton and Shannon (David) Tucker all of McKenzie, three sons Lewis Edward Moore of Indiana, William Floyd (Laura) Lee, Jr., of McKenzie, Lewis Avery Lee of McKenzie, two sisters Nellie Waldrup and Linda Pearl Ross both of McKenzie, two brothers Donnie lee and Jimmy Lee, Jr. both of McKenzie, 11 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
