Mildred Lee Hicks

Mildred Lee Hicks, 97, died on Monday, November 26, 2012 at McKenzie Health Care Center. Funeral Services for Mrs. Hicks will be Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home, burial will be at McBride Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Hicks will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 4:30pm-7:00pm and on Wednesday, 9:00am until service time. Mrs. Hicks, was born to Doss Melton and Ocie L. Reynolds on October 27, 1915 in Mansfield, TN. She is a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a homemaker and also a farmer. She was married to the late Archie Jewel Hicks for thirty six years. She is survived by one son, Dr. Marlin Hicks of Cowan, TN and one daughter, Jo Ann Cooper of McKenzie, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
