Mildred Finley

Mildred W. Finley, 91, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral Services for Mrs. Finley will be Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Finley will be on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 5:00p.m.- 8:00pm at the funeral home and on Friday, 9:00am until service time at the church. Mrs. Finley, was born to Jesse Thurston and Carla Dean Whitehead on October 15, 1921 in Center Star, AL. She is a member of the McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a retired teacher and guidance counselor. She is survived by two daughters, Glynda Corbin and Marlene (Bill) Kreuter both of McKenzie; three sisters, Emogene Hyatt of Decatur, AL, Lala Bedingfield of Rogersville, AL and Barbara Lankford of Decatur, AL; two brothers, Bruce Whitehead of Anderson, AL and Gerald Whitehead of Rogersville, AL; six grandchildren, Glenn (Tammi) Corbin, Eric (Kristi) Corbin, Andy (Magan) Corbin, Patrick (April) Corbin, Angela (Zack) Rogers and Dan (Jamie) Kreuter, and ten great-grandchildren. In leiu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to the building fund at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
