Arden Levern Reynolds

November 12, 1937 — December 3, 2012

Arden L. Reynolds, 75, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed from the surly bonds of this earth on December 3, 2012. He is the son of the late Weldon G. Reynolds and Mallie Fields Reynolds of McKenzie, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by brothers Larry Reynolds, Gordon Reynolds, Randolph Reynolds, and Keith Reynolds. He is survived by his wife Patsy Reynolds of Bartlett, TN, and two daughters, Elaine Reynolds of Memphis, TN, and Cindy Smith of Bartlett, TN, one sister Alice Reynolds Vaughn (Roger) of Daytona Beach, FL, brother Argel Reynolds of McKenzie, TN, and brother Chester Reynolds (Sibyl) of Independence, MO, many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and countless nieces and nephews. He served his country honorably for 30 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer (AFCM) then went on to retire from FedEx Express after 25 years of loyal service in the aviation maintenance field. He was a loving husband and wonderful father and brother, a man that held his friends and the great memories made along the way very close to his heart. His laugh will echo in the hearts of all that knew him. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with visitation on Thursday, December 6 (5-8pm), and the funeral on December 7 at 1 p.m. with burial at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
