Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Kenneth (Ken) Wayne Butler, 65, will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at12 Noon at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 9:00 am until service time. Mr. Butler the owner of the Ken Butler Insurance Agency in McKenzie died Sunday morning, December 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 10, 1947 in Obion, TN to John H. and Mattie M. Beard Butler. He was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church, a graduate of Obion County Central High School, a Carroll County Commissioner for 10 years, a LUTCF, a Mason, member of the Chicken Tour and a former member of the McKenzie Lions Club and McKenzie Bass Club he also served with the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by parents and an infant son Jonathan Butler. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Judy Litton Butler of McKenzie, a son Ty (Samantha) Butler of McKenzie, two sisters Nancy Covington of Obion, TN, Betty Ann (Richard) Hood of Obion, TN, a brother Rickey (Mary) Butler of Kenton, TN, and two grandsons Colton and Corbin Butler .
