Julia Elizabeth Parker

Dateline: Atoka, TN Graveside funeral services for Julia Elizabeth Parker, 70, will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church near Henry, TN with Brother Keith Pence officiating. Mrs. Parker, a homemaker, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born on July 5, 1942 in Virginia to Carl and Byrd Hankins Haley. She was a member of The Happy Church (Baptist), an Honor Graduate, a member of the Beta Club and also a member of the Glee Club at the Bosville, VA School. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Ellen Ballentine and Jane Raines. Survivors include her husband Gary Parker of Atoka, TN, a son James Marvin Parker of Tarboro, North Carolina, two sisters Myerline Finney of Aspen, VA, Lois and her husband the Reverend Junior Shelton of Patrick Springs, VA, a brother Pat Haley of Martinsville, VA, and two half brothers Joe Haley of Martinsville, and Mike Haley of Lexington, KY.
