MCKENZIE, TN J.W. Galey, Jr, 80, died, January 5, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital. Funeral Services for Mr. Galey will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at New Prospect Baptist Church. Burial will be Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 11:00am -1:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. Galey was born August 31, 1932 to Walter and Violet Galey. He is a retired farmer/dozer operator, a deacon and also a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shelia S. Galey of McKenzie; one daughter, Lynda (Kenny) King of Martin; one son, David (Tina) Galey of McKenzie; one sister, Grethel Sue (Bob) Stacey of Memphis; one brother, Doyle (Sylvia) Galey of McKenzie; one grandson, Ty Galey; three step-grandchildren, Jake King, Casey(Johnna)Toombs, Brian(Shunna) Toombs and three step-great-grandchildren, Brett Toombs, Marlee Toombs and Tateum Toombs.
