Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Samantha Jo Floyd, 22, will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Kenny Carr and JC Popplewell officiating. Interment will follow at McBride Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, January 11, 2013 from 10:00 am until service time. Samantha died Wednesday morning, January 9, 2013 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1990 in McKenzie, TN to Joseph Lee Floyd and Marsha Gail Moore. She was a 2009 graduate of McKenzie High School. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Samuel Moore. Survivors include her mother and step father Marsha and Mark Walker of McKenzie, her father Joe Floyd of Huntingdon, TN, a brother Aaron Floyd of McKenzie, a half brother Jagger Floyd of Huntingdon, TN, a step sister Ashley Jackson and a step brother Cody Walker both of Paris, TN, and her grandmothers Nancy Moore of McKenzie and Judy Barnhart of Jackson, TN.
