Christine Pinson

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Brooxie Christine Pinson, 88, will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Brother Dennis Trull and Brother Clayton Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home and Monday, January 13, 2013 from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Mrs. Pinson died Saturday morning, January 12, 2013 at McKenzie Health Care Center. She was born on August 10, 1924 to Edgar Flippin and Pearl Reynolds Scarbrough. She retired from West TN Public Utility District and was the co-owner of Pinson's Grocery she was also a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and also worked with the Prison Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of thirty-eight years Paul Wright Pinson, one sister, Frances Davenport and her brother, Alton Flippin. Survivors include her daughter, Paula Pinson Watkins (Larry) of McKenzie; two sons, Randall Pinson (Shelley) of Camden, TN, Darrell Pinson (Janie) of McKenzie, TN; one sister, Louise Martin of McKenzie; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
