Billy Bennett

Services for Billy F. Bennett, 82, will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ with Brother Tim Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Republican Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, TN. Visitation will be at the church and the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 18, 2013 from 9:00 am until service time. Mr. Bennett died Tuesday morning, January 15, 2013 at McKenzie Health Care Center. He was born on April 25, 1930 to Carl and Ila Pearl Bennett. He retired from U.S. Corps of Engineers and was a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of Trezevant Church of Christ, and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother Bobby Ray Bennett and his brothers, Thomas Bennett and Joe Frank Bennett. Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Stella Ruth Bennett of Trezevant; three daughters, Robin (Ricky) Brockman of Trezevant, Sharon (Mark) Wright of Trezevant and Debi McDaniel of Big Sandy; one son, Marty (Sherry) Bennett of Trezevant; one sister, Mary Sue Carroll of Dyersburg; two brothers, Harold Bennett of Tiptonville and Larry (Mary) Bennett of Obion; seven grandchildren, Chris McDaniel, Chad McDaniel, Nathan Brockman, Ryan(Cera) Brockman, Dustin Bennett, Garrett Wright and Sara Beth Wright and six great-grandchildren, Jamie Birmingham, Dusty McDaniel, Jessie McDaniel, Tyler McDaniel, Kensley Brockman and Hadley Brockman.
