Etta Beatrice Pounds

Services for Etta Beatrice Pounds, 91, will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant with Brother Holbert Walker officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Green Cemetery. Visitation will begin, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Pounds died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 11, 1921, in Perry Co., TN to Charlie Thomas and Ocie Lena Elliott Meredith. She was a retired factory worker for Henry I Siegel in Trezevant, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Dewey Pounds and a grandson. She is survived by two daughters; Linda (James Tommy) Martin of McLemoresville and Stella Rivera of Huntingdon; one step-son, Wayne Pounds of McKenzie and one brother, Don Meredith of Louisville, KY., nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
