Dateline: McKenzie, TN formerly of Murray, KY Services for Betty Lou Blackburn, 69, will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Jim Roberts officiating. Interment will follow with grave side services at 2:00 pm at Murray (KY) Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 9:00 am until service time. Mrs. Blackburn, a former beautician, manger of the Jean Shoppe in McKenzie and Office Manager of G and B Auto Sales, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. She was born on April 29, 1943 in Murray, KY to Hill and Vivian Edwards Adams. She was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Charles Roger Darnell, and two brothers James Adams and Hal Adams. Survivors include her husband Greg Blackburn of McKenzie, a son Craig Darnell of Wingo, KY, two sisters Emma Rushing and Anna Flood, four brothers Hugh Adams, Bob Adams, Dwayne Adams, and John Adams, four grandchildren Isaac Hess Darnell, Allye Nicole Darnell, Ethan Rob Darnel, and Evan Brooks Darnell.
