MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Nell S. White, 95, will be Thursday, March14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will following at Meridian Cemetery, near Greenfield, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. White died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at McKenzie Health Care Center. She was born on February 22, 1918, in Weakley County, TN to Alvin Walter and Mae Bell Drewry Swindell. She is a retired from Henry I. Siegel, Trezevant, TN. She was married in November 1936 to Cecil Frank White, who has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sons, Walter White and Joe White; her brother, Harry Swindell; her sister Thelma Ward and a grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Robbie Barker of McKenzie; two sons, Frank ( Wanda) White of McKenzie and Charles ( Yoko) White of El Paso, TX; one sister, Ruth Norbrega of California, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
