Elmer Ray Crocker

MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Elmer Ray Crocker, 78, will be Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will following at Everett's Chapel Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Crocker died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1934, in McKenzie, TN to Elmer Dale and Sara Jeanette Cunningham Crocker. He was self-employed as a mechanic and farmer. Mr. Crocker was a former Sunday School at Liberty Hill Baptist Church for forty years, until he transferred his membership to Grace Baptist Church, McKenzie, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ann McAdoo Crocker, his daughter, Sandra Crocker; two sisters, Alice Taylor and Carolyn Clement and four brothers, Roy Crocker, Robert Crocker, Troy Crocker and Charles Crocker. He is survived by his wife, Sara Brawner Crocker; a daughter, Patsy Parsley of McKenzie; a sister, Betty Crocker of Paris, TN; two brothers, Don (Mary Lou) Crocker and Bobby Crocker both of McKenzie; two grandsons, Billy(Joanne) Webb and Roger (Karen) Webb and two great-grandchildren, Brent Webb and Brittany Webb.
