Emma Jean Bostic

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Emma Jean Bostic, 75, will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dewayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Bostic, a retired electronic inspector, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born on August 17, 1937 in McVeigh, KY to Marion David and Virgie Smith Ramey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Anita Caroll Bostic, and four sisters Nellie Sawyer, Anna May Cox, Vada Webb, and Juanita Maynard. Survivors include her husband of 57 years James C. Bostic of McKenzie, TN, four sons James M. Bostic of Ft. Myers, FL, Roy David Bostic of Florida, Charles Richard Bostic of Gleason, TN, and John Anthony Bostic of McKenzie, TN, one sister Ruby J. Jackson of Paris, TN, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
