Ray Summers

TRENTON,TN Memorial Services for Ray Summers, 83, will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Caledonia Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Mr. Summers died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1929, in Henry, TN to Ira Curtis and Annie Baucum Summers. He was a retired candy salesman in McKenzie and a former grocery store owner in Gibson, a member of First Baptist Church of Trenton, a Korean Army Veteran and a member of the VFW in Dover, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Mangrum and three brothers, Curtis Summers, Howard Summers and R B Summers. He is survived by his wife Paula Gaye Light Summers; two sons, Kenneth (Shari) Summers, and James (Melinda) Summers; step-son, Phillip (Sandy) Ball; two step-daughters, Gail (Michael) Wallace and Tammy (Tim) Ernest; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
