Funeral Services for Carolyn Nell Bishop, 83, will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will begin Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Bishop died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital. She was born March 21, 1930, in McKenzie, TN to Ray and Carrie Lee Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, McKenzie, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Bishop; one sister, Marie Cook King and three brothers, Thomas Ray Cook, Paul Cook, and Donald Cook. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Rusty) McDowell of Destin, FL and Margaret Noffsinger of Oregon; one sister, Maxie Bersey of McKenzie, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
