Walter F. Lindley

MCKENZIE,TN Funeral Services for Walter (Sonny) Lindley, 81, will be Friday, April 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Everett's Chapel Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will begin Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.and Friday visitation will be at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Lindley died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1930, in Wynne, AK to Jeff and Helen Foster Lindley. He was a retired farmer and Rural King employee a member of Grace Baptist Church and Chairman of the deacons. He also was an Air Force Veteran that severed during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four and a half years, Peggy Lindley; one daughter, Peggy Renee Rogers of McKenzie; two sisters, Catherine McMaster and Pat Burnett; one brother Jackie (Betty) Lindley; three grandchildren, Raeanna Rogers, Justin Rogers and Evan Rogers; one great-granddaughter Devyn Rogers and several nieces and nephews.
